Regent Street London
Regent street is one of London’s most famous shopping streets and destinations. Many global brands have their London flagship stores on Regent Street. Many of the surrounding streets are also iconic and filled with stores, restaurants and bars also. Usually it is also one of London’s busiest roads. So being traffic free lets visitors discover Regent street in a whole new way.
Summer Streets is combining the themes of culture, style, wellness plus food & drink. Creating the biggest and boldest lifestyle festival yet, right in the heart of London.
Food and Drink
Also for the first time ever as part of the celebrations will be a Summer Streets’ Food Quarter. A pop-up food market, bringing together a selection of the best drinking and dining destinations across Regent Street and St James’.
Including steak sandwiches from Gaucho, short rib burgers at Heddon Street Kitchen and fragrant chicken biryanis from Masala Zone. Also for those with a sweet tooth a fabulous selection of ice creams from authentic Italian Piccolino. And a chance to sample typically British strawberries and cream.
Music and live performance
Live music will be filling the streets in dedicated entertainment zones. This year’s summer soundtrack includes the Brazilian Samba, Military Brass, Klezmer trio and a Notting Hill steel band. For families, there’s more street-wide activity, pop-ups and workshops than ever before. Sure to keep both the little ones and grown-ups entertained.
Alongside all of the amazing traffic-free events many stores will also be holding in store events. Some also providing shoppers with complimentary drinks and snacks. So Look out for limited edition cocktails and menus also on offer from the many restaurants and bars.
